Traditional knowledge – formula	莲肉（泡，去皮心，微火焙干）四两厚朴（姜炒）一两干姜（炒黑）一两经年久泻冷泄，及休息痢。

莲子：睡莲科植物莲Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn．的干燥成熟种子。秋季果实成熟时采割莲房，取出果实，除去果皮，干燥。
厚朴：木兰科植物厚朴Magnolia officinalis Rehd. et Wils．或凹叶厚朴Magnolia officinalis Rehd. et Wils.var.biloba Rehd. et Wils．的干燥干皮、根皮及枝皮。 4～6月剥取，根皮和枝皮直接阴干；干皮置沸水中微煮后，堆置阴湿处，“发汗’’至内表面变紫褐色或棕褐色时，蒸软，取出，卷成筒状，干燥。
干姜：姜科植物姜Zingiber officinale Rosc.的干燥根茎。冬季采挖，除去须根和泥沙，晒干或低温干燥。趁鲜切片晒干或低温干燥者称为“干姜片”。

Indications: 经年久泻冷泄，及休息痢。

Usage and dosage: 上为细末。每服二三匙，米饮调下，一日
三次。
