Traditional knowledge – formula	当归身一两（生）熟地三钱白芍三钱（生）肉苁蓉一钱（洗净）火麻仁三钱怀牛膝三钱年老、久病之人，阴血亏乏，津液不足，大便秘结。

当归：伞形科植物当归Angelica sinensis（Oliv．）Diels 的干燥根。秋末采挖，除去须根和泥沙，待水分稍蒸发后，捆成小把，上棚，用烟火慢慢熏干。
熟地黄：生地黄的炮制加工品。
白芍：毛茛科植物芍药Paeonia lactiflora Pall.的干燥根。夏、秋二季采挖，洗净，除去头尾和细根，置沸水中煮后除去外皮或去皮后再煮，晒干。
肉苁蓉：列当科植物肉苁蓉Cistanche deserticola Y．C．Ma或管花肉苁蓉Cistanche tubulosa（Schenk） Wight的干燥带鳞叶的肉质茎。春季苗刚出土时或秋季冻土之前采挖，除去茎尖。切段，晒干。
火麻仁：桑科植物大麻Cannabis sativa L的干燥成熟果实。秋季果实成熟时采收，除去杂质，晒干。
牛膝：苋科植物牛膝Achyranthes bidentata Bl.的干燥根。冬季茎叶枯萎时采挖，除去须根和泥沙，捆成小把，晒至干皱后，将顶端切齐，晒干。

Indications: 年老、久病之人，阴血亏乏，津液不足，大便秘结。
