Study on the resources of medicinal plants of Melastomataceae in Guangxi Province

摘要 Objective Based on the investigation and textual research,the species,geographical distribution and medicine efficacy of Melastomataceae medicinal plants in Guangxi Province are discussed. Methods Field investigation,specimen examination and data collection. Results There were 13 genus 39 species of wild medicinal plants of Melastomataceae in Guangxi which comprise 62% of the total family. The most medicinal plants of Melastomataceae have not been exploited and used. Conclusion Guangxi wild Melastomataceae plants is widely distributed and has a long history of medicinal application,which can be utilized for a bright future.
