Abstract Objective: To investigate the resources of medicinal plants of Rabdosia distributed in Gansu province to provide data for their exploitation. Methods: Field investigation, specimen collection and literature retrieval were carried out. Results: The distribution, ecological environment and medicinal parts of Rabdosia from Gansu have been clarified. Conclusion: Resource of this genus in Gansu province was abundant and may be further exploited rationally. Furthermore, protective measurements were carried.
