Development of the guidelines for the tests of distinctness, uniformity and stability of ornamental plant

摘要 The guidelines for the tests of Distinctness,Uniformity and Stability of plant new varieties is the standard of DUS testing. The situation of ornamental plants varieties DUS testing guidelines of UPOV and China were reviewed in this paper. At the same time the procedures for development the UPOV and national plant varieties DUS testing guidelines were introduced. Some deficiencies in Chinese plant new varieties DUS test guidelines were pointed out. We look forward for more UPOV test guidelines be drafted by Chinese.
