Rapid Propagation of Rare Medicinal Plants Bergebnia crassifolia in Xinjiang

Abstract Objective The study aimed to establish the rapid propagation system of Bergenia crassifolia(L) Fritsch shoot tip and screen the optimum medium.Methods Put the shoot tip of Bergenia crassifolia(L) Fritsch as explant into MS medium which add hormone NAA,IBA,6-BA,GA3,with the ratio of different combinations and concentrations to induce the shoot tip of Bergenia crassifolia(L) Fritsch regeneration,proliferation,and seedling root,to select an optimum hormone combination and concentration ratio.Results Just adding NAA was help to induced the shoot tip of Bergenia crassifolia(L) Fritsch regeneration.The best formula was MS + NAA0.5mg / L.The combination of 6-BA and NAA could improve the multiple of seedlings.The best formula was MS + NAA0.5mg / L + 6BA0.4 mg / L.With the 1 /2MS medium adding hormone NAA0.5 mg / L or IBA1.0mg / L to induce the seedlings radication,could get the best effect.Adding carbon(C) powder to 1 /2MS medium could promote the seedlings growth.Conclusion The methods of the shoot tip vitro rapid propagation can keep the plant genetic trait stable and improve the proliferation times.So the study can provide technical theory to the research of Bergenia crassifolia(L) Fritsch regeneratal system.
