A Preliminary Investigation on Medicinal Plant Resources of Nanjing Region

Abstract A preliminary investigation on medicinal plant resources distributed in Nanjing region was carried out.According to the plant taxonomy,there are 357 pharmaceutical plants,which belong to 281 genera and 107 families.Of them,12 species are fern and 345 species are seed plants.Descriptions for some famous-region drugs and rare medicinal plants in Jiangsu province are also given.
