桂枝：樟科植物肉桂Cinnamomum cassia Presl的干燥嫩枝。春、夏二季采收，除去叶，晒干，或切片晒干。
白芍：毛茛科植物芍药Paeonia lactiflora Pall.的干燥根。夏、秋二季采挖，洗净，除去头尾和细根，置沸水中煮后除去外皮或去皮后再煮，晒干。
葛根：豆科植物野葛Pueraria lobata （Willd.） Ohwi的干燥根。习称野葛。秋、冬二季采挖，趁鲜切成厚片或小块；干燥。
